Rita teaches weekly classes on:
• Wednesdays 6.15-7.30pm LEVEL 1 class (casual or pass)
• Wednesdays 7.45-9pm BEGINNERS COURSE (pre-booked)
• Thursdays 6-7.30pm LEVEL 2 class (casual or pass)
• Saturdays 4-5.30pm RESTORE & RENEW (all welcome)
• Sundays 4-5.30pm GENERAL class (casual or pass)
• Private and/or couple sessions on request
Yoga means ‘union’ and Amrita means ‘nectar of life’ translated from Sanskrit. Yoga Amrita’s focus is on the health of body, mind and soul. You do not have to be flexible or strong, as yoga will improve your body posture and condition when practised on a regular basis.
Rita Kreileman is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher on Level 2, and has been teaching since 2006. Rita is also an accredited Naturopath, specialised in Massage with a background in Nutrition and Medicinal Herbs. We welcome everyone and the level of this class is general offering a variety of asanas and pranayama. Complete beginners are recommended to attend a Beginners Course at first.
Restore & Renew
Restore & Renew yoga practice brings balance between doing and undoing, being active and unwinding the nerve system to find steadiness and inner awareness. Poses are helt longer, more props are used and pranayama is explored.
Level 1 Courses and Classes (casual)
For those who have completed Beginners. You will progress learning the foundations of yoga postures. When you book in for our Course, you receive 5 bonus classes extra on top of your pass!
For those new to yoga, each term we offer 10-weeks Courses. It teaches the fundamentals of yoga alignment and introduces you into a variety of asanas (yoga poses) to improve body posture, and create body & mind awareness.
Level 2 class
For students with 18 months Iyengar Yoga experience who are able to hold shoulder stand for 5 mins. We will start with introducing supported headstand, more advanced backbending, forward bending and balancing asanas. For progressive learning and to increase mobility in stability!!
Private & Small group classes
Prices start at $85 per hour
Try a private yoga class either one-on-one or with your own group of friends, family or colleagues. Get in touch to discuss pricing options and bookings. Sessions available at the studio or at a location of your choice.
